| #CeasefireNow: Aufruf zu einem sofortigen Waffenstillstand im Gazastreifen und in Israel, um eine humanitäre Katastrophe und den Verlust weiterer unschuldiger Menschenleben zu verhindern Wir haben im Gazastreifen und in Israel Tod und Zerstörung in unvorstellbarem Ausmaß erlebt. Tausende von Menschen wurden getötet, verletzt, vertrieben, und fast zweihundert werden weiterhin als Geiseln gehalten, darunter auch Kinder und ältere Menschen.Im Gazastreifen gehen nach Angaben der UNO aufgrund der Belagerung Wasser, Lebensmittel, Treibstoff, medizinische Versorgung und sogar Leichensäcke zur Neige. Die UNO warnte, dass die Menschen – insbesondere kleine Kinder – bald an schwerer Dehydrierung sterben werden. Stadtviertel wurden zerstört und in Schutt und Asche gelegt. Palästinenser, die Sicherheit suchen, können nirgendwo hin. Viele derjenigen, die nach dem Umsiedlungsbefehl der israelischen Armee aus dem nördlichen Gazastreifen in den Süden umgesiedelt sind, wurden Berichten zufolge bei ihrem Fluchtversuch oder nach ihrer Ankunft im südlichen Gazastreifen bombardiert.Die Ereignisse der letzten Woche haben uns an den Abgrund einer humanitären Katastrophe geführt, und die Welt kann nicht länger warten, um zu handeln. Es liegt in unserer gemeinsamen Verantwortung.Am Sonntag, den 15. Oktober, appellierte der Koordinator der Vereinten Nationen für humanitäre Hilfe in den besetzten palästinensischen Gebieten an alle Konfliktparteien und an die Mitgliedstaaten mit Einfluss, dringend eine humanitäre Waffenruhe zu vereinbaren. Am Sonntag, den 15. Oktober, appellierte der Koordinator der Vereinten Nationen für humanitäre Hilfe in den besetzten palästinensischen Gebieten an alle Konfliktparteien und an die Mitgliedstaaten mit Einfluss, dringend einer humanitären Feuerpause zuzustimmen.Heute vereinen wir unsere Stimmen und rufen alle Staatsoberhäupter, den UN-Sicherheitsrat und die Akteure vor Ort auf, dem Schutz von Menschenleben Vorrang vor allem anderen einzuräumen. Während dieses Waffenstillstands rufen wir alle Parteien dazu auf, bedingungslos: 1. Erleichterung der Lieferung lebensrettender Hilfe, einschließlich Lebensmitteln, medizinischer Versorgung, Treibstoff, Wiederherstellung der Stromversorgung und des Internets im Gazastreifen sowie sichere Durchreise für humanitäres und medizinisches Personal 2. Befreiung aller zivilen Geiseln, insbesondere von Kindern und älteren Menschen 3. Erlauben Sie humanitären Konvois, UN-Einrichtungen, Schulen, Krankenhäuser und Gesundheitseinrichtungen im nördlichen Gazastreifen zu erreichen und verpflichten Sie sich, sie sowie die Zivilisten und das Personal in ihnen jederzeit zu schützen. 4. Aufhebung des Befehls der israelischen Regierung, dass Zivilisten den nördlichen Gazastreifen verlassen sollen 5. Dies ist unsere einzige Möglichkeit, weitere Verluste an Zivilisten und eine humanitäre Katastrophe zu verhindern.
